The Buildings

home | the buildings | cell 3 (630) | further pictures...

The cell pipe occupies the central part of the well and the cover has been removed so the interior of the working section can be seen. There’s also an access door in the northern side of the working section.

Underground walkways can be seen around the edges and across the roof of this cell. Whilst they give access to the working section, they also give access to the huge number of sensors and measuring equipment connected to the cell.

There are also steps leading down to a second subterranean level below the cell itself where further sensors and heavier plant are connected to the belly of the cell.
