The Buildings

The western end of the cell where the working section ends and the water cooled diffuser starts
has been radically changed for the film Sahara. The futuristic “metal” doors are simply painted,
flimsy wooden follies and were installed when Pyestock doubled for the toxic
waste incinerator seen in the film. As such, they have nothing to do with Pyestock,
but are unfortunately hugely popular for photographs.
An attempt to photograph the extent of the cell from the top of this construction was
foiled when I put my foot straight through the roof. It’s not as tough as it looks.
