The Buildings

We eventually emerge at the surface buildings of Cell 3 West after ducking and diving westwards under the seven pipes of the Vacuum Bus Mains which connect Cell 4 to the network. (These are on the north side of the trench; the eighth pipe is connected on the southern side only).

The cell is housed above ground in a steel frame with its brick-built Engine Control Room to the right.
