The Buildings

The view east shows the extent of the building. The centre of this steel framed shed is occupied by a huge concrete plinth into which the Parsons exhauster is placed. Various walkways and steps lead up to the top of this plinth where the top of the exhauster can be viewed, whilst ground floor passages lead away either side of the plinth.
