The Buildings

Moving across The Romany allows the southern flank of the Plant House to be seen. The south western corner of the building is dominated by Aero Cathedral, the largest test cubicle, and double the size of many of the others.

The small squat chimney near Aero Cathedral is the exhaust for the Aero Cubicles.

The Plant House tank farm can also be seen in this shot. This would provide a range of fuels for the various engines being tested in the cubicles.

To the right of the shot is the Plant House cooling tower.

We cross back across the road, move across the eastern side of the Plant House and then enter the building.
